Low friction, wide chemical resistance and a −200 °C to +260 °C range. We supply CNC-machined PTFE seals in 21 grades, from virgin PTFE to bronze, carbon and glass-filled compounds, made by our specialist production partner.
Why PTFE
Resists acids, bases, alcohols, ketones, fuels and oils. Low friction and high wear resistance make it right for high speeds. Fillers tune it to each job.
- Bronze: mineral hydraulic oils, high pressure, low wear
- Carbon-graphite: dry running, water & oil, pneumatics
- Glass + MoS₂: water-based fluids, high pressure
- TFM: low deformation & permeability
Good to know
- Not elastic: usually paired with an elastomer energizer
- Glass-filled grades need hard counter-surfaces

Common questions
Which PTFE filler should I choose?
It depends on the medium and the counter-surface. As a guide: bronze for mineral hydraulic oils and high pressure; carbon-graphite for dry running, water and oil, and pneumatics; glass + MoS₂ for water-based fluids at high pressure; TFM for low deformation and permeability. Glass-filled grades need hard counter-surfaces.
Are PTFE seals elastic?
No. PTFE is not elastic, so PTFE seals are usually paired with an elastomer energizer.
Do you have FDA PTFE grades?
Yes: BP-PT-11, BP-PT-19, BP-PT-34, BP-PT-37. BP-PT-37 is also metal and X-ray detectable.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the seal, but it's usually around 20 pieces. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm the minimum in your quote. Seals are CNC-machined from billet stock, so there's no mould or tooling cost.
Can you make a replacement from a worn seal?
Yes. Register your sample, we'll email you the shipping address in California or New York, and we'll measure, identify and quote it.
